How to make money and promote affiliate links and blogs on facebook

To promote links on facebook, I do not mean going and spamming in facebook groups. 

In this strategy you are going to start a facebook group and grow it. I am going to give you a strategy to grow your group.

So first things first you need to start a group. For that just go to the groups section in facebook and click on create new group.

Then add your group title which actually tells someone what your group is about. Select your privacy which can be public or private. It is up to you. I recommend that it will be public if it is just about a niche(topic). For example affiliate marketing or health. But you should keep it private if it is a brand. For example a group for your blog. But in the end it is up to you. 

Then after that edit your group settings and block certain things and add your group rules.

Now it is time for uploading consistently. You need to be uploading several times a day and every day.

After you will gain a couple hundred followers facebook will promote your group and posts manually. That's why I told you to post several times a day.

Promotion

But now for the promotion, I will show you how to promote your website for free.

For this, you need to go to a similar page and click on the members or people tab.

Here just go to the new to the group and start sending friend requests to these people. You can keep doing this. And send friend requests to like like 100-200 people in one time. You can do this about 3 times a day to start getting a lot of friends. Once people accept your friend you can invite them to your facebook group from the invite section in your group. This can get your ball rolling.

So you can also do this till 300-400 followers.

Landing Page

If you are doing this for your blog then there is no problem you can give links to blogs in your posts. But what if you are promoting affiliate links in your group. You cannot direct link to affiliate links on facebook.

So you need to create a landing page.

You can do so with the help of these three websites:

1. Google sites: you can create a simple landing page with this one completely for free. Just add a click here to continue button. Maybe a picture and a short description.

2. Landing page builders: These include Clickfunnels, Builderall, Convertkit and aweber,etc. They can also help you collect emails and build an email list. You do need to pay some money for these but they also have a free trial.

3. Liktree: Linktree basically allows you to create a very simple landing page that just has buttons with text linking to websites or links. You just need to create an account on linktree and make those buttons which even a five year old can do and takes seconds.

So once you create these landing pages you can get the link to them and now promote this link.

Important

Now as soon as you create your group do not start to add the links to your first posts. In fact, do not add any links at least till a few hundred members.

 

You can promote your affiliate link from the pinned post though.

Okay now let's think that you have got some hundred followers and you can now promote links in posts. But how often?

You should not give a link in every single post you make. You may give it like once a week if it is an affiliate link and maybe every time you post on your blog if you want to promote your blogs.

And obviously, you still want to keep your links in the pinned post as it get's a lot of traffic.

So yeah this is how you promote your links.

Conclusion and takeaway

This can be a good side hustle which does not take much time to do and earn you decent amount of money once you have a lot of members. But remember, consistency is key. You need to be consistent with it and be posting several times a day. Though once you grow other people will start posting in your group and you can remove those posts if they are spam but you can keep them if they are not.

And do not quit. You will not get a lot of members overnight. You need to work on your group for at least three months to start to see some results.
