I recently wrote an article about the top 5 fiverr gigs that require no knowledge or skills.

But as I mentioned in that article, you cannot rely just on fiverr to make sales. Sure it will give you a few impressions over the weeks, but it will most likely not be enough for sales.

Once you get a few reviews(15+) your profile will be much more credible and your conversion rates will be much higher.

Once you get these few reviews, fiverr will also start to promote your gig a lot more and you will also rank for search results.

So after you get the first initial reviews, you will not need to do too much external promotion.

I also mentioned in that article that this week, I will also write and publish an article about promoting fiverr gigs.

So as promised, I am writing this article.

So , let's jump right into the methods that you can use to promote your gigs initially.

The top ways to promote gigs on fiverr

1.Promoting through fiverr requests

Fiverr also allows you to send requests to people who have asked for a service.

However, it does have a daily limit and when you exceed the daily quota it will not allow you to send requests to more people.

Pro tips:
Whenever someone requests a service on fiverr, there will be dozens of people who send requests o them. SO, you need to be quick and you also need to stand out.

So try to be one of the first people who send the request.

Also you need to stand out. You can do this by giving them a blueprint of how you are going to help them. You can also make a quick and small customized video to stand out.

Just make sure to do something that most people won't so that you can stand out from your competition.

2.Cold mailing

In this strategy, you scrape the web for email addresses of people who might be interested in the gig that you provide.

For example, let's say that you have a local SEO service on fiverr.

Then, you can search on google for something like:

"business" + "any city"

This could be anything like plumbers in new york.

Once you search this on google you will see a list of websites that are showing up.

Now you are going to see the organic search results and you are also going to be seeing results from google maps.

Click on the results shown by google maps. Then go to page 2. The websites showing up in page 1 will be getting some traffic and therefore sales especially from tourists. As sometimes you must have also seen the google search results to maybe find restaurants when you are out of station.

However, few to none people visit the websites on the 2nd or third page. So this is where you will send them a pitch and tell them how your gig can help them rank in search results and how it can help them get more sales.

This was just an example and you can do this for any niche, but I hope you get the idea.

3. quora

Quora is a great way to get traffic to blogs, affiliate links and gigs. Basically getting traffic to anything. 

However, quora also bans really quickly so you need be really careful.

If you spam in quora, you will get banned so, please don't spam.

So get started with quora, it really is a great way to get traffic to links.

4. Content marketing.

This is the best and my most favorite way to promote your fiverr gigs.

Here you just post content on youtube or maybe write blogs.

Once you start getting some traffic you can also promote your gigs to your audience.

So make videos on youtube, and if you are not comfortable making videos like a lot of people then start writing blogs as I am right now.

5. Social media

For this method, just go over to various social media sites like facebook, instagram, tumblr, twitter, etc and make a profile for yourself. In these profiles, post content related to the niche of your gigs.

Every time you get someone to buy your gig, you can share pictures of your work.

• Don't spam in social media, it just does not work.

And guys the key is to be patient. Don't quit because you did not make a sale in the first day of doing this.
